Vienna - June 2003

St Stephans Cathedral has undergone countless facelifts and repairs but retains much of it's original charm and charachter

Stephansplatz is the general meeting point for tourists, concert sellers and buskers

.

Located in Judenplatz is Rachel Whiteread's commissioned memorial to Austrian victims of the Shoa. It is a cast of a library and books symbolising the records of names of those that died.

And what would a trip to Vienna be with out a photo of Mozart - so here it is!

Vienna has the worlds oldest Ferris wheel. Well you have to do these things when you are on holiday!

Schlos Schonbrunn was the summer palace of the Habsburgs. It comprises the wonderful palace, the Gloriette at the top of the hill and some of the most beautiful gardens that I have come across.
